- Surface. Wood and siding need low pressure and more care than concrete.
- Stains. Oil, rust and heavy mildew need extra chemicals and time.
- Access and height. Second stories need extension wands or ladders.
The low end of the range is a newer pressure washer at about $40 an hour. The high end is an experienced pro at about $75 an hour who travels to you. Many pressure washers have a minimum charge of around $100. Prices are higher in big cities.

Each price is your hourly rate times the typical time for that job, plus supplies and driving, plus your overhead and profit, rounded up to the nearest $5. Small jobs use a $100 minimum. If you work faster or slower than the times shown, adjust your hourly rate.
